Helmet Fox V4 Pound 2016 Blue. The helmet Fox V4 is easily recognisable thanks to its impressive silhouette, its multiple ventilation ducts and its cushioned interior, that hold the lower part of the jaw to provide an extremely secure fit. The hull is built with 4 shell sizes to adapt to the maximum to the physique of each rider. The materials chosen for the manufacture of the shell have been the carbon fiber on the exterior and EPS foam densities of 2 on the inside. Its luxurious interior, fully removable and washable, is made of Dri-Lex®, which extracts sweat and provides a pleasant feeling in contact with the skin. At Fox, knowing that the heat is the main enemy, have endowed the V4 with 16 air inlets and 8-channel extractors. Highlight the 4 air intakes at the upper front that channels the air to carry the flow to the glasses. The result of all the ventilation system is the creation of the helmet most ventilated on the market. This helmet has been extensively tested in competition. The V4 is delivered with a bag for transport.

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System):

With respect to the previous versions, the V4 now incorporates the system of protection of MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System). The impact tests of helmets conventional are made by letting them fall vertically on a rigid surface. This new system is based on the fact that most of the times there is an accident, the head does not impact vertically against the floor if not at a slightly different angle, creating a rotation in the brain and causing further damage. With the system MIPS, the helmet absorbs between 25 and 35% of this energy is rotational, providing the pilot with a protection radically better.

The brain is enveloped by a fluid cerebrospinal that serves as cushion to prevent to the maximum the friction.
